What heat press settings work best for 20oz, 30oz, and 40oz skinny tumblers?

All tumbler sizes typically use 400°F (205°C) for 60-90 seconds with a tumbler press attachment. The 40oz skinny tumbler may require slightly extended press time due to its larger surface area. Consistent rotation and pressure are essential for even sublimation across the curved barrel.

Can I use a regular heat press for sublimation tumblers?

While a standard heat press can work, a dedicated tumbler press or rotating tumbler attachment is highly recommended. These specialized tools ensure even heat distribution around the curved surface, preventing uneven color saturation and image distortion on your finished tumblers.

Are the sublimation tumblers sold in Canada dishwasher safe?

Most sublimation tumblers are dishwasher safe in the top rack. However, handwashing is recommended to extend the vibrancy of your sublimated designs. Our high-quality blanks are designed to withstand repeated washing while maintaining color-fast results.

What’s the difference between stainless steel and plastic tumbler blanks?

Stainless steel tumblers offer superior durability, heat retention, and professional appeal for premium products. Plastic tumblers are lightweight, affordable, and ideal for promotional giveaways. Both accept sublimation equally well; choose based on your end-use application.

How do I prevent sublimation ink from rubbing off on sublimation tumblers?

Proper heat and pressure settings, combined with appropriate dwell time, ensure dye molecules permanently bond to the coating. Avoid pressing below 400°F or with insufficient pressure. Our tumbler blanks come pre-coated for optimal sublimation adhesion.
